WELCOME to the Peterborough Sailability web site where we hope you will find all you need to know about us.
We have been operating since 2006 at Ferry Meadows in Nene Park and offer people with disabilities living in and around Peterborough the opportunity to go sailing- to enjoy the fresh air and sense of freedom that this brings.
Sadly we will not be opening in April this year as planned and do not know when we will be able to do so.
We urge all our sailors and volunteers to adhere to the Government guidlines regarding social contact during this challenging period.
Nene Park remains open to the public but most facilities are closed.
The Trust have issued the following statement:
In order to comply with the Government recommendations issued on Friday 20 March and ensure the safety of our staff and the public, we have taken the tough decision to close our Visitor Centre and Gift Shop and the Nene Outdoors Water Sports and Activity Centre.
In addition, Lakeside Kitchen and Bar and the Ferry Meadows Café will be closed until further notice.
Our boats are worked very hard during the season and some of the older ones will need replacing over the next four years.
